Meet The Doctor

I am born and raised in Toronto and did all my training here as well. I did my undergraduate biology degree in York University. Following a stint in cancer research both at York University and at the Hospital for Sick Children, I then completed my dental studies at University of Toronto. My studies do not end there, as I am constantly updating my knowledge by attending numerous courses over the years.

I believe in building trusted relationships with my patients through open and honest communication. Patients are very involved in their treatment planning (but leave the drilling to me) because I present all options available with the associated pros and cons since that is the only way to properly make informed decisions.

I like to think that my sense of humour and easy going manner has helped calm many patients and make for a more comfortable and pleasurable experience. Of course, the ultimate goal is to provide you with excellent dental care by combining the art and science of dentistry. We firmly believe that you are extension of our family and treat you accordingly (mother in laws not included).

Dentistry is a field that is constantly changing and evolving and I love going along for the ride. The range of people I meet, from all walks of life, sincerely enrich my life in ways I never imagined back in school while carving teeth out of wax. The ability to restore a person’s smile along with the improvement in personality and self confidence is an unbelievably rewarding experience that will keep me hunched over people’s mouths for years to come.

I enjoy cruising, football, travelling, and tennis. While my tennis game is constantly improving, I remain a humble amateur. I live in Thornhill with my beautiful wife Monica and 3 girls that are the light of my life.

I would love the opportunity to meet you, earn your trust, and become your long term dentist. Call my caring staff today for an appointment. We look forward to meeting you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Jason Halberstadt
