Hi, I’m Maxine. It is me you will speak to on the phone and I am the first face you will see upon entering our office. I love my patients, they are an extended part of my family! I have been in the dental field for 22 years. I began my dental life as an assistant for 13 years and ended up behind the front desk where I can sit and schmooze with the patients and truly enjoy all the relationships I have built over the years. I am very fortunate to have ended up here as part of Dr. Halberstadt’s team and family.

I enjoy cruising, travel and food. I live in Richmond Hill with my loving husband Josh and my three delightful children.

Krystal

Dental Hygienist

Hi, my name is Krystal and I’m a Registered Dental Hygienist. I graduated from George Brown College and have been working with Dr. Halberstadt for the past 2.5 years.  I have a strong passion for teeth and a love for dentistry. As a team, we work together to achieve the highest optimal oral health for our patients. I also love learning new things and attend many continuing education courses to better help my patients. I love meeting new people and can’t wait to meet you guys!

When I’m not making smiles brighter and healthier, I’m travelling and exploring the world, snowboarding, working out and enjoying the outdoors. I am also happiest when surrounded by my friends and family.

Kayla

Patient Coordinator and Social Media Manager

Hi, my name is Kayla. I graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from York University in 2019, and am currently a student at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto, where I am working towards my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Being a part of the Bayleaf Dental team allows me the opportunity to become more familiarized with the dental world and provides insight into what I’ll be doing when I graduate.

I live in North York with my husband, Zack. When I’m not studying, I love swimming, painting and spending time with family and friends.
